Introduction: I am Michelle and this is my furbaby Nadja. We love being together, but she never comes to work with me because she likes to stay home and play with Lizzie 🙂

Play Therapy:
Often children and adolescents are not able to tell their story with words alone, so I utilize Play Therapy to allow the expression of the hurt in a way that is developmentally appropriate for them. Whether it is Art, Play, Music, or Dance, I encourage the trauma to unfold naturally, which is the first step in the healing process.
What is Play Therapy
Family Therapy:
Although my primary focus is working with children and adolescents, sometimes the best way to help the child is to work with her/his family as a whole. I incorporate several approaches in this to engage each family member including Positive Parenting, Communication, Play Therapy and Relationship Building.
