The decision to come to therapy can be scary. There are so many unknowns, especially if you have never done this before. I am here to stand and walk with you through every step of the process of change and healing- It gets better. My goal in my relationship with you is to make sure that you feel safe and comfortable enough to be yourself.
I utilize a person-centered, strengths-based approach to treatment that is designed with you, for you, so that you can have the life you want. The therapeutic relationship built on a non-judgmental approach, trust, respect, rapport, and your needs is the center of clinical focus. I utilize Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques in treatment.
I have a passion for working with children and adolescents; ages 10 to 17 with feeding and eating disorders. I also welcome adults of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image concerns, anger management, and trauma. I also provide group therapy to help clients build connections to other people who are going through the same struggles. You are not alone.
